2019-2020 MEMBERS

Laura Hurtado

Since she was 8 years old, Laura has been singing nonstop that she is even majoring in it! From opera, art songs, choral music, and to musical theatre. Laura is thrilled to be a part of The Coda family to experience a different vibe aside from everything else she does. Along with being a part of an incredible bunch of talented and hilarious people, when Laura is not singing, she is in the Essence of Joy THON organization and is very passionate to help others and raise money for those in need! She is also majoring in Human Development and Family Studies since one of her aspirations is to be a therapist. Being a busy bee, she wouldn't be doing it without the support of her family and friends. Although she regrets not auditioning for Coda a lot sooner, she looks forward to spending these upcoming years singing her family away from home.

Even though she’s already in music groups such Concert Choir and Essence of Joy, CODA is something she calls home and now has a new family. Lindsay discovered CODA her freshman year when her best friend Laura introduced her to it, and ever since she’s been in love with it. This is Lindsay’s first pop group she’s been a part of at Pennstate, way different from musical theater or choir. She’s so excited to start this fun and fabulous journey with CODA.
